While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I found behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floors were sticky , and a nauseating aroma of old alcohol and filthy restrooms polluted the entire establishment . Reeking of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and illness . The main bar, which should be the main attraction of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — spilling over , with a broken handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. Based on the experiences shared online and speaking with locals , it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a persistent problem .
